No. EduVenue™ is a platform, not a provider. You can use it alongside your existing provider or lettings system. Schools stay in control of who runs clubs and which spaces are made available.
Q2. Are there contracts or long term commitments?
No. EduVenue™ has no lock in and no exclusivity. You can join or leave at any time with 30 days’ notice.
Q3. Who is responsible for safeguarding?
The school remains responsible for safeguarding and policy enforcement. EduVenue™ provides tools to upload and track DBS, safeguarding, and insurance documents, but ultimate safeguarding authority always rests with the school.

We can get your school live in 48 hours. You choose which spaces are available, approve organisers, and EduVenue™ does the rest.
Q5. What does it cost the school?
There are no setup fees. EduVenue™ takes a small commission from bookings, which covers the platform, support, and compliance tools.
Q6. Do I need qualifications to run a club?
Not necessarily. If you’re new, EduVenue™ offers an onboarding pathway, including safeguarding training, DBS checks, and starter lesson plans. Schools must still approve your club before it runs.
Q7. Do I have to sign a contract with EduVenue™?
No. There are no long-term contracts. You can join or leave with 30 days’ notice.
Q8. How do payments work?
Parents pay online at the time of booking. EduVenue™ takes a small commission, deducts school rental fees, and transfers the balance directly to you. No chasing invoices or late payments.
Q9. What if I can’t run a session?
If you opt in, EduVenue™ can match your club with a substitute educator from our pool. They’ll receive your saved lesson plan and cover your session so children aren’t left without care.
Q10. Can I run clubs at multiple schools?
Yes. Once your compliance documents are uploaded, you can apply to multiple schools through EduVenue™, subject to each school’s approval.
Q11. Can anyone book a club through EduVenue™?
No. EduVenue is school based. Only pupils already enrolled at a participating school can book clubs at that school.
Q12. How do I know it’s safe?
All organisers must upload DBS, insurance, and safeguarding documents. Schools approve every club before it’s listed. EduVenue™ tracks compliance and sends renewal reminders.
Q13. How do I book a place for my child?
Log in, select your child’s school, browse available clubs, and book instantly. You’ll see live availability, and payment is taken securely online.
Q14. Can I book ad-hoc sessions or just full terms?
Both. EduVenue™ supports one time bookings, full term bookings, or flexible weekly options depending on the club.
Q15. How do I pay?
All payments are handled securely online through EduVenue™. You’ll receive an instant receipt and booking confirmation.
Q16. How quickly can we start using EduVenue™?
We can normally get schools and organisers live in 48 hours or less.
Q17. What if something goes wrong?
EduVenue™ provides email support for all users. Schools and organisers remain responsible for service delivery, but we help with booking issues, refunds, and compliance reminders.
Q18. Is EduVenue™ GDPR compliant?
Yes. All data is stored securely, payments are processed through Stripe, and personal information is managed in line with UK GDPR.
